2008-2009 MIGC Family Pairings
The following are the pairs of MIGC Families for 2008-2009! The pairings can get their chapters together throughout the quarter and participate in an event!

- Alpha Gamma Epsilon and Lambda Sigma Gamma

Family Ideas:
** REMINDER: MIGC Families must do ONE event per quarter**
I. Social Activities/Outings
1. Movie Night – rent DVDs, provide pizza, popcorn, cookies...
2. Go out to the Movies – arrange for older members to pick up younger members (great ways to have the new members hang out with the older members)
3. Grey's Annatomy Night
4. Chapter Dinner – host dinner at your apartment for another chapter
5. Ice Cream Bar Night – build your own sundaes, you could be sneaky and depending on what toppings they choose people have to go around the room and tell stories (ex – if you choose whip cream you have to tell an embarrassing story…chocolate sauce – tell about your favorite memory regarding your organization)
6. Game Night – play something like Catch Phrase, do a scavenger hunt, clue race (set up clues that lead to destinations on campus that have next clue – first team to make it to final destination wins a gift certificate or a cookie cake…)
7. Ice Skating - Prove you are good enough to star in "Blades of Glory". Click here to find great places to practive in LA
8. Cookout/BBQ/Picnic – a park or at an apartment, even make it a block party!
9. Bowling - See if you can score that perfect 300. Click here to find the closest alley.
10. Sporting event – support your chapter at an Intramural game or join an intramural team
11. Progressive Dinners – have the members with apartments each cook a course
II. Service Activities/MIGC Activities/Campus Activities
1. Participate in other chapter philanthropy events
2. Volunteer UCLA Projects – tutoring, environmental care, nursing homes, the website for the organization has an endless amount of ideas
3. UCLA Relay For Life
4. UCLA Dance Marathon
5. UCLA Child Care – help children with their Christmas shopping during the Holiday season
6. Adopt a Family – especially during the Holiday season, go shopping together
7. Central Ticket Office - go see a play, a choral concert, a musical, opera, etc….
8. NPHC Step Show
9. Sporting Event – go see our #1 basketball team!! Or any other UCLA team game/match
10. Host a speaker – open to whole MIGC community or to your own chapters
11. Care Packages – put together packages for the members studying abroad
12. Attend an MIGC Speaker
13. Valentine Card party – make cards for nursing homes
14. Faculty Dinner - invite a certain number of professors to dinner and have them honored
15. Drives - clothing, can collecting, pop taps….make a large donation
